Heart of the Artist Community Art Festival 2011: “Expressions of Christian Faith”
To be held Saturday, May 21 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Wake Forest Baptist Church
We encourage you to submit your work for consideration for our inaugural Heart of the Artist Community Art Festival (HOA) 2011, to be held on the beautiful grounds of Wake Forest Baptist Church in historic downtown Wake Forest, NC. In our first year, our goal is to make this a well-attended event that will attract a variety of local artists and art enthusiasts, and provide an educational and inspirational art appreciation experience for the entire community. This family-oriented art festival will also feature interactive art demonstrations for children, in addition to performances by local musicians. Exhibiting artists will have the opportunity to sell their work at the art festival. Submissions for family-oriented art demonstrations are encouraged. A special Young Artist exhibit will be included to showcase youth artists. Work shown in the Young Artist exhibit will be for exhibit only and will not be eligible for sale at the art festival.
