A phone call from Roy Burrill, owner of A Garden Event in Rolesville, just 2 weeks ago began the planning of an arts and entertainment event to bring residents to enjoy local art mus
ic and the beautiful serenity of a 5-acre natural area off Hwy 401. Fast forward to today and the property has narrowly escaped the destruction of the tornados which left neighboring lands in peril. Quick thought and local actions of benevolence has altered the focus of this event to be a fundraising effort for those in need.
Open Your ART will take place May 14th, 11-6pm at A Garden Event, 9405 Louisburg Rd. This will be a family friendly day filled with plenty to do: live music, local art and crafts for sale, silent auctions, raffles, participatory activities, children’s games, bake sales, wine tasting, food vendors, and more. * 100% of proceeds raised from Raffles, Silent Auction and Bake Sales will go directly to families in need following the recent tornados.
