The Town of Chapel Hill presents the 40th Annual Festifall celebrating the area’s cultural arts. Voted “Best Festival” by Chapel Hill Magazine’s readers 2011/12. This outdoor event takes place along the tree lined streets of West Franklin Street on Sunday October 7, 2012 from noon-6pm, hosting over 15,000 attendees.
Chapel Hill’s annual celebration of the arts boasts live entertainment for all ages, hands-on activities, and local food. Chapel Hill citizens and neighboring communities will have the opportunity to explore our booming local art scene supporting the artists that make our communities and local economy vibrant.
Artists are invited to apply to showcase their work. Upon acceptance, artists will be eligible to participate in the juried portion of the show with cash prize categories which include Best in Show ($300), First Place ($200), Second Place ($100) being juried by Sara Gress, owner of North Carolina Crafts Gallery.
We are encouraging all interested artists to apply using the paper-less application which can be found at www.townofchapelhill.org/festifall. Applications are due May 1st.
