Raleigh, NC — Artspace Artists Association (AAA) is an organization of artists working together to promote growth of the individual artist, to provide an environment of interaction with other artists and with the public, and to foster the mission of Artspace. Professional artists interested in becoming a member of the Artspace Artists Association are invited to apply. Artists must submit applications through www.callforentry.org (CaFÉ). There is a $30 application fee.

Applications undergo a two-stage jury process. In both stages of jurying, the jurors will be looking for professionalism and quality of work. The criteria includes: competence, visual impact and a distinct body of work, as well as evidence in resume and written information of professional work as an artist.

Artspace Artists Association Membership Benefits include: participation in the Artspace Hall exhibitions, opportunities for solo exhibit in the Artspace Lobby, opportunities for solo or two-person show in the Upfront Gallery, the opportunity to be selected for AAA-only group exhibitions in Gallery One, and sales opportunities through the above exhibitions and the Artspace gift shop (30% commission taken). Artspace Artists have the opportunity to participate in the leadership and direction of the Association by participating on committees, as an Artspace Artists Association officer, or on the Board of Directors of Artspace, Inc. AAA members may also rent studio space in the Artspace building as space becomes available and requirements can be met. There is no commission charged on studio sales. Artspace Artists Association annual membership dues are $80, which include an individual membership to Artspace, Inc.
