Wake Forest ARTS will be hosting an open house at our 205 S. Brooks St. headquarters during the June Art after Hours event, from 6-8 pm on Friday, June 14. There will be art from local artists, refreshments, good cheer and friendly folks to talk to.

Also during this evening will be the dedication of Wake Forest’s first two pieces of town-funded public art during a special ribbon cutting ceremony. The commemoration will begin at 6 p.m. at Wake Forest’s Jones Plaza, located at the intersection of South White Street and East Jones Avenue down town (right across from the coffee shop).

A reception and the Foundations-Renaissance Art Exhibit will follow the ribbon cutting, in the ground floor meeting room of the Wake Forest Town Hall, 301 S. Brooks St., until 8 p.m. Billy Farmer and Gail Joyner will provide the entertainment during the reception by performing Cole Porter tunes beginning at 7 p.m.
