On Saturday, March 29 at 7:30pm, the Louisburg Lions Club and Happy Camper will present Keith Henderson in his Elvis tribute act, “Illusions of the King.” Louisburg College will host the benefit event in the Seby B. Jones Performing Arts Center (JPAC).
All tickets are $15, and can be purchased by calling the Louisburg College Box Office at (919) 497-3300 or toll-free at 1 (866) 773-6354. Tickets may also be purchased at the door on the day of show; the Box Office is located in the JPAC at the left front entrance of the Holt Lobby. It is open 1-5pm, Monday through Friday, and 6pm the evening of the performance.
Proceeds from the concert will provide camp scholarships for local children in need, and fund Lions charities for the blind and visually impaired.
The 2002 Grand Prize winner of the international “Tribute to the King” contest in Biloxi, Mississippi, Keith Henderson also won the 1998, 1999, and 2000 “Images of Elvis” competitions in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Along the way, he’s had the privilege of performing with Elvis’ original back up singers, the legendary Jordanaires, as well as with members of the Stamps Quartet.
