A Night of Improv: “It’s Funny to Be Scared!”
Halloween Treat for the Family

Forest Moon Theater is excited to bring improvisational theater to Wake Forest. On Saturday, October 25, for one night only and just in time for Halloween, you’ll find out why “It’s Funny to Be Scared!” Enjoy a  Halloween-themed evening of unscripted performances at the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre, beginning with The Estessentials , a student improv group from Estes Tarver’s Moonlight Stage Company, and followed by Transactors Improv: For Families, a professional troupe that has been entertaining people of all ages in the Triangle area for a number of years.

“It’s Funny to Be Scared” is family friendly show appropriate for ages 8 and older. If you’re familiar with improvisational theater, you know you can expect an energetic, fun show that is created before your eyes as it is being performed (think Saturday Night Live). For this reason, no two shows are ever the same. Be prepared for hilarity, but also be prepared to watch improv games made up on the spot based on your suggestions.

You can purchase discounted tickets in advance here. Buying your ticket in advance guarantees you a seat. Advance tickets are $10 adults/seniors and $8 students (ages 8-17). Tickets the day of the show are $2 more and may be purchased online or in person at the Renaissance Centre’s box office, subject to availability. For additional ticket information, you can call the Renaissance Centre’s box office at  (919) 554-1379.
