ARTS Wake Forest and the Town of Wake Forest’s Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department plans to present a one-time fall series of six music concerts. These concerts will take place on consecutive Sunday evenings 5-7 pm at the E. Carroll Joyner Park amphitheater in Wake Forest staring on September 5 and ending October 10, 2021.
The September 5 concert will be held in conjunction with the annual Wake Forest Unplugged event where families are invited by the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Advisory Board to unplug from electronic devices and enjoy outdoor games. Unplugged activities will take place from 4-6 pm in Joyner Park’s Walker Garden. The concert will feature Reggae/Caribbean band Sensory Expressions performing at the park amphitheater from 5-7 pm.
The remaining concerts will take place September 12 through October 10 and will include a mini Art Market hosted by the Wake Forest Guild of Artists. The Guild is the visual arts division of ARTS Wake Forest. A raffle will be held by ARTS Wake Forest to support this one-time series along with the upcoming annual Six Sundays in Spring concerts.
