Plein-air painters are invited to save the date for Paint the Forest, a four-day plein-air painting event happening in and around Wake Forest on Nov. 6-9, 2024.
Hosted by our visual arts division, the Wake Forest Guild of Artists, and The Makery Wake Forest, this
inaugural event aims to raise awareness about the plein-air painting movement, encourage regional artists to explore the Wake Forest area, and promote participating artists works.
After four days of painting outdoors, artists will be invited to showcase their completed works at a “Wet Paint” Art Show & Sale on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, from 6 – 8 p.m. at The Makery in Wake Forest.
This show and sale is open to collectors and the general public, offering a unique opportunity to view and purchase plein-air paintings that capture the beauty of Wake Forest and its surrounding areas.
