Hosted by the Wake Forest Guild of Artists and The Makery, Paint the Forest is a four-day open-enrollment Plein air painting event taking place in Wake Forest from Wednesday, November 5, to Saturday, November 8, 2025. During this event, artists will have the opportunity to capture the beauty of pre-selected locations around town.
Paint the Forest celebrates the Plein air tradition by inviting regional artists to explore the Wake Forest area while showcasing their creativity. After four days of outdoor painting, artists will present their finished works at a special Awards Ceremony and Reception on Sunday, November 9, from 1:30–3:30 PM at The Makery, 317 E. Roosevelt Ave. Collectors and community members are invited to view and purchase these unique works of art, which highlight the charm of Wake Forest and its surroundings.
